TBA Regional Day - the Household Cavalry and the Osborne Studio
TBA Regional Day - the Household Cavalry and the Osborne Studio
The TBA is delighted to offer Regional Days this year which are open to all members. The popular events will take place throughout the spring and summer, and offer members the chance of a look behind-the-scenes at some of the most successful racing and breeding operations in the country, and an opportunity to socialise with like-minded people from the area.
Priority will be given to those from the local region should the day be over-subscribed. This is only a basic outline of the events and in some cases programmes may be subject to change. All costs include VAT.
To book your place, please click 'book now.' If you have any questions, please call the TBA office on 01638 661 321 or email [email protected].
The Household Cavalry has invited TBA members to view behind the scenes at their mounted regiment stationed at Hyde Park Barracks in London. The Household Cavalry, the ceremonial face of the regiment, conducts mounted state and public duties in the capital.
Following the tour and lunch, TBA members will make their way to the Osborne Studio, a contemporary gallery in Belgravia specialising in sporting and equestrian art.
The Household Cavalry is made up of the two most senior regiments in the British Army: The Life Guards and The Blues & Royals. It is divided into the Household Cavalry Regiment and the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. Since 1660, the soldiers of Household Cavalry have acted as the monarch’s trusted guardians, as well as being the public face of the British Army both at home and abroad.
£45 for TBA members
£55 for non-members and joint members
