A checklist for horse travel can be downloaded here. This document includes top tips for travelling your horses, including:
- Checking the designated status and opening hours of the Border Inspection Post (BIP) at the destination
- Applying for an Export Health Certificate (EHC), sometimes referred to as a Sanitary Certificate (SC)
- Entering a prenotification in TRACES-NT system
- Providing invoices or receipts to prove the origin of materials (e.g. feed and bedding)
