TBA Essentials is part of a broader membership offering, which also includes TBA ACCESS (£60 per annum) and Full Membership (£175 per annum, plus joining fee). Full Membership offers over 20 benefits for breeders, valued at more than £900 and the full breakdown can be view here.
Claire Sheppard, Chief Executive of the TBA, said: “The TBA is really pleased to launch TBA Essentials aimed at those considering their first steps into breeding, or simply wanting to learn more about the bloodstock sector. This free new membership tier offers a great introduction to breeding alongside tailored guidance and advice, which we hope will be well received and encourage more people to find out more about this fascinating part of the industry.
"TBA Essentials complements our existing membership options including TBA ACCESS for those who are looking to develop their knowledge and networks within the sector, and our Full Membership which has a package of valuable benefits worth over £900 for active breeders.”
Sheppard continued, “We are always looking to add value for our existing members such as the recently launched SEABS scheme, however it is also vital to the future of the domestic breeding industry that we take positive steps to broaden our audience, encourage greater understanding of the development of the thoroughbred and encourage more active community participation.”
