TBA Stud Employee Award 2025

The TBA Stud Employee Award aims to celebrate the significant contribution that stud employees make to the breeding industry by rewarding those who have shown dedication and excellence in their role. Nominations are open between 3 March and 12 May 2025, and studs are invited to nominate deserving employees from Flat and National Hunt stud farms.

The annual award – generously sponsored by the Hon Peter Stanley’s New England Stud – will provide the winner with a £2,000 cash prize and a perpetual trophy in the form of a magnificent Charlie Langton bronze. The perpetual trophy will remain with the winner for 12 months and will be engraved with his or her name.

The Award winner will be selected from six shortlisted candidates and will be invited to attend the TBA Flat Breeders’ Awards Evening in July 2025 where they will be presented with their prize and trophy. The remaining shortlisted nominees will receive £250 each in recognition of their achievement.

If you have an employee who you feel deserves recognition, please complete this form in full and return it to Stanstead House by the closing date of 12 May 2025. Late nominations will not be accepted.

Key terms and conditions:

• Nominations can be made by employer, line manager, colleague or client (excluding family members) and must be countersigned
by Stud Owner/Manager
• The employer must be a member of the TBA
• Awards can be given to recognise notable performance over a long period, or exceptional performance in a specific situation
• The nomination period will run from March to May 2025
• To determine the winner all shortlisted nominees will be interviewed by telephone shortly after the closing date. Nominators will be
notified prior to this commencing
• The overall winner will be presented with the award at the TBA Flat Breeders’ Awards Evening.
