Jan qualified in 2001 from the School of Veterinary Science, University of Bristol.
She worked in general equine practice for three years where she gained an interest in reproductive work and artificial insemination (A.I.). Following a stud season in New Zealand, she joined Greenwood Ellis & Partners in 2006. Her interests include all forms of stud work, including A.I. and neonatal care. Jan became a partner in 2021.
